I’m Kat and I love all things food, especially food history. Making and sharing food was an important part of my childhood growing up Polish in the US. I’ve named my blog after my great-grandmother, Stanisława or Stasia for short (seen here on the left in a photo taken in Warsaw in the early 1930s) whom I never had the chance to meet, but whose culinary skills remain legendary in my family.
